7 Diaper Bag Organization Hacks From Motherly Editors

As a new mom, there is nothing more important than having your diaper bag organized, with easy access to all the things your baby might need at any given time. Here are seven of our favorite hacks for organizing our diaper bags from the Motherly Editors:

1. Utilize Compact Storage Containers

Use waterproof containers of various sizes to store items like pacifiers, teethers, and small toys. You can also attach the containers to the inside of the bag with a piece of velcro, so they are always in one place.

2. Use Extra Pockets

If your diaper bag has pockets on the inside or outside, fill them with smaller items such as coins, lip balm, and hand sanitizer. This way, they are always easy to reach while keeping the main compartment organized.

3. Designate Specific Sections

Organize your diaper bag by creating designated sections for each item. You can have one area for wipes, one area for diapers and cream, and one area for toys and bottles. This will allow you to quickly grab what you need without having to dig through the entire bag.

4. Opt for a Changing Clutch

If you find yourself needing to change your baby’s diaper in a public restroom, it can be helpful to have an extra changing clutch. This pouch can be stored in your diaper bag and can easily fit all the necessary items, so you don’t have to take out your entire diaper bag.

5. Store Diapers in an Outside Pocket

Having an outside pocket dedicated to diapers can be incredibly helpful! Store several diapers in there and you’ll always have a quick and easy way to reach them in a hurry.

6. Hang Diaper Bags on Hooks

If you don’t have enough space to hang the diaper bag near where you are, you can use hooks to hang the bag from door handles, cabinets, or even from the walls of the bathroom. This can also be a great way to keep the bag off the ground and out of the way.

7. Make a Diaper Kit

Create a DIY diaper kit with items such as wipes, diapers, creams, and wipes. This way, you’ll always have everything you need in one place and it will be easy to access.

We hope these hacks help you to keep your diaper bag organized, so you can focus on taking care of your little one. Happy organizing!
